ICT-38 Project Workshop: Teaming.AI x Assistant (KGs in manufacturing)

On Friday, December 15th, the projects Teaming AI Project – H2020 and ASSISTANT Project-H2020 from the 𝗜𝗖𝗧-𝟯𝟴 𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 came together to share their developments and research regarding KG #implementations in manufacturing. Moreover, a workshop was held to identify future ideas and requirements for KGs and how these can be implemented.

A few words about the ICT-38 cluster:

ICT-38 Projects Cluster (AI-MAN) includes nine projects funded under the ICT-38-2020 Call and focusing on integrating state-of-the-art AI technologies in the manufacturing domain joined their forces towards more effective work on AI in manufacturing. The AI-MAN cluster, supported by EFFRA and the Connected Factories project, aims at exploiting synergies between the projects and increasing their impact.

TEAMING. AI project aims to overcome the lack of flexibility as a limiting factor of current Industry 4.0 while ensuring the role of the human being in the future industrial scenario by means of a human centred AI collaboration. Learn more here.

The EU-funded ASSISTANT project aims to develop breakthrough solutions for the manufacturing industry, using artificial intelligence to optimize production systems. One of the keystones of ASSISTANT is the creation of intelligent digital twins. By combining machine learning, optimization, simulation, and domain models, ASSISTANT develops tools and solutions providing all required information to help production managers design production lines, plan production, and improve machine settings for effective and sustainable decisions that guarantee product quality and safety.
